It’s a good day for fruit salad. In fact, any day is a good day for fruit salad. I started thinking about how I was going to spice it up by first searing a large piece of pineapple (in a hot pan, dry), sprinkle some cinnamon on it, then top it with…. I stopped myself. I mean seriously, it’s fruit. Sometimes we just fuss too much!
Pineapple, papaya and banana. That sounds like a nice simple combination.

And do they really have to be neat even pieces? I just spooned the papaya, and chopped a couple of sweet bananas on top.

Husband Rating:
Nice and sweet. Unusual texture combination. But they were all nice and sweet.
I am not a big fan of bananas in fruit salad. I like to eat them alone. So I added some tree tomato to mine instead.
