6 slices of bread, 1 cup milk
2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
icing sugar & honey
Mix the milk eggs, nutmeg and vanilla in a bowl wide enough for the bread. Soak each slice in the mixture and fry in a pan (lightly oiled/buttered) on medium heat. Flip till the inside is well done. Slice the cooked toast diagonally to arrange on plate, sprinkle a bit of icing sugar and drizzle some warm honey/maple syrup.
Would have preferred it to be a little more crispy. Liked the presentation though.
