We had rice and beans with a side of avocado the previous night. Yum! The avocado was so good! It’s always nice when you get a good one. Anyway, while were eating I remembered, one morning, I saw my dad spread avocado on a slice of dry toast. I was young. My first thought was “eeew!” But I was a child back then, today I actively look for the good avocados!
Fruit was always an emphasised part of every meal in my parent’s home. It didn’t matter what else was available for desert, you had to eat fruit too.
I’ve tried the avocado on scones but not on toast. We had some avocado left over so in the morning I made some french toast. It would have been dry toast but I was out of butter and I had no jam either.
I suspected that my husband would not be interested in trying the avocado on toast so he would need something else. He could at least have the french toast with honey (^_^)
Ingrediens for the egg mix:
2 eggs
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk
I got this recipe from my friend Nahuja (@naunuhu)
He gave me a rating for the french toast sans-avocado!
Husband Rating:

I do love it with sukuma wiki!
But I’ve never tried it with pancakes or eggs
Thanks for the tip El! (^_^)
you can add avocado to alot of dishes; githeri, rice with stew, any stewy dish, yani you can add it to almost all dishes except spagghetti and beverages!
Hey Lydia!
I feel you on the avocado,
it just has a way to melding flavours together,
it just works!
