For when you want savoury without the fuss! You will need to have some spaghetti sauce handy though, or my home made tomato paste which doubles as a spaghetti sauce. The store bought kind will do but nothing beats home made.
Meat balls are a great item to cook and store for later use. When you make them, make more than you need then store the extra in the freezer, bagged in your preferred portions per meal. Had some extra ones stored away, here is how I used them…

I have come to notice that most restaurants have just a couple of signature dishes in their menu and then the rest is the usual stuff. Yup, even the fancy and expensive places. They may serve it creatively a name it something fancy to match their theme but in the end a lamb chop is a lamb chop is a lamb chop! #justsaying

What do you do when you get home late and you still have to make dinner? Well, it would be nice to pass by some place and get something to go, on the way home but that’s not always possible.
I know, sounds odd. It tasted OK. I’ll probably make it again.
A most delicious way to eat eggplant!
So, it was time to make dinner and I was totally blank! I think the cooking part of my brain is still on vacation. Well, not completely, I’m thinking about making cookies and nuts, baking bread and making chapos. But I can’t combine any of that into a proper meal for dinner! Plus my kitchen still feels like I’m on vacation, I need to stock up on a few things. That’s probably the problem.
Form that photo you can probably guess what happened. Not the results you hope for when you’re hosting guests but in the end we all had a good chuckle.
This is a deliciously flavourful meat sauce, just the right balance of herbs and spices \(^_^)/ It is a must try. Give your family a treat this week. And make plenty, it’s guaranteed to inspire second helpings.
Nice and easy flavourful vegetarian dinner. Also very quick to prepare, just because you don’t have time doesn’t mean you have to give up flavour. Definitely one to keep and do again.
